<\/span>What do I need to start using Capturly?<\/span><\/h2>\n

If you have already registered to Capturly<\/a>, the first thing you have to do is <\/span>installing the Capturly tracking code<\/b><\/a> to your website. After the code is installed and the first visitors are tracked, you can gain access to all of the features available in your plan.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>How can I install Capturly’s tracking code?<\/span><\/h2>\n

You can find your tracking code by following these steps:<\/span><\/p>\nSTEP 1<\/strong><\/span> Log in to your Capturly account and go to the\u00a0 Settings<\/strong> <\/span>\u00a0under your email address in the right top corner.<\/span><\/p>\n

STEP 2<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Select your desired website that you wish to gather data from in the left column<\/span><\/p>\nSTEP 3<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Scroll down to the bottom of the  Website<\/strong>\u00a0Settings<\/strong> <\/span>\u00a0page until you see your tracking code<\/span><\/p>\n

Heads up:<\/strong> In order to allow Capturly’s tracking code to run smoothly, simply paste\u00a0the code just <\/span>before the closing <\/body> tag<\/b> of your webpage’s HTML code. <\/span>If you don’t have access to your website’s HTML code you have the option to send it to your developer by pressing the  I’ll send it to a developer<\/strong> <\/span> button.<\/div><\/div>\n

<\/span>Capturly’s tracking code is installed, but no data has appeared yet.<\/span><\/h2>\n

You might encounter an issue where Capturly\u2019s tracking code is already installed, but you still cannot access your website’s visitor data. This happens when there was no trackable visitor activity on your website from when you installed the tracking code until recent observation. Do not worry as you will have access to your website analytics data after the first visitors are tracked.<\/span><\/p>\n

Additionally, keep in mind that Capturly updates website metrics a few times a day depending on your subscription. If you’ve recently set up Capturly or are waiting for new data, there may be a short delay before the information appears. Check back after some time has passed or reach out to our support team if you need further assistance.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>How to implement Capturly with Google Tag Manager<\/span><\/h2>\n

Google Tag Manager is a free tool that allows you to manage and deploy code snippets or tracking pixels on your website without having to modify the code of it. This basically means you only need to add one code snippet (the snippet of Google Tag Manager) to your website first and after this step, you can handle every other snippet from the admin dashboard without managing your code.<\/span><\/p>\n

If the Google Tag Manager is implemented on your website, please follow these steps to add the Capturly tracking code to your website with it:<\/span><\/p>\n

STEP 1<\/strong><\/span> Click on the  Add new tag<\/strong> <\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/b>on your main Google Tag Manager dashboard<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0STEP 2<\/strong><\/span> Name your tag<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/b>and choose the  <>Custom HTML<\/strong> <\/span><\/span>\u00a0tag type<\/p>\n

\u00a0STEP 3<\/strong><\/span><\/span>Add the <\/span>Capturly tracking code<\/span><\/a> to the  <>Custom HTML<\/strong> <\/span> field<\/span><\/p>\n
