Installing Capturly for your Opencart-based webshop takes only a couple of minutes. In order to get it up and run it, all you have to do is to copy the tracking code and follow the steps below.<\/p>\n

To obtain your tracking code,\u00a0log in<\/strong> to your Capturly account, and go to Website Settings<\/strong>\u00a0on your website’s dashboard page.<\/p>\n

The Capturly tracking code should look like this:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Note<\/strong>: The code in the gray box above is for demonstration purposes only. Keep in mind that you will have a unique Capturly ID\u00a0between the\u00a0apostrophes instead of EXAMPLE.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Method 1 – Using Opencart’s Admin panel:<\/h3>\n

STEP 1 <\/em>Log in\u00a0<\/strong>to your Opencart account, then download the Capturly plugin from here<\/a><\/p>\n

STEP 2\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>In your Opencart admin<\/strong> panel, go to Extensions<\/strong> -> Extension Installer<\/strong><\/p>\n

STEP 3\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Click on the blue Upload <\/strong>browse the\u00a0“opencartplugin.ocmod.zip”<\/strong> archive you downloaded<\/p>\n

STEP 4\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Click on the blue Continue<\/strong> button under the gray text box<\/p>\n

STEP 5 <\/em><\/strong>Head to Extensions -> Extensions and click on the green “+” icon<\/strong><\/p>\n

STEP 6\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>If you click on the blue edit icon<\/strong> on the right, you can paste\u00a0your Capturly tracking code in the text box.<\/p>\n

Note:<\/strong>\u00a0In case you wish to double-check if you have installed the plugin properly, you can do so by clicking on the Extensions submenu<\/strong>, then you should see “Enabled<\/strong>” under Status.<\/p>\n

Method 2 – Using FTP:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

You can also install Capturly by uploading the\u00a0plugin through FTP.<\/p>\n

STEP 1\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Create an FTP user in a Virtual Server environment using the control panel<\/p>\n

STEP 2 <\/em><\/strong>Download the Capturly plugin\u00a0from\u00a0here<\/a><\/p>\n

STEP 3 <\/em><\/strong>Upload the contents of opencartplugin.ocmod.zip to the root directory of your Opencart install<\/p>\n

Note:\u00a0<\/strong>In case of\u00a0operating Opencart in a VPS environment, you have to create an SFTP connection using the SSH access that comes with the VPS. You can do this using Total Commander or FileZilla, but the Bitvise SSH client does this automatically for you.\u00a0After successfully uploading, the extension will appear under Extensions -> Extensions menu in your Opencart admin panel.<\/p>\n
